With our hire boats it is possible to complete the circumnavigation of the island of Ischia at high speed in less than 2 hours, so we advise you to enjoy the view, proceed at a leisurely pace and stop wherever you wish without stress.
The island has a circumference of about 22 nautical miles, is about three times the size of Capri and its coastline has much to offer its visitors. For our skippered tours, as these are enjoyed with a different type of boat vs our hire boats, please note that about 4 hours of non-stop sailing are required in addition to the stops and swims.

Island of Procida
The island of Procida is much smaller than Ischia and not very far away; it is therefore possible to reach it without difficulty and visit it in a day. For those who hire an inflatable boat or a center console boat, Procida can only be reached in optimal marine weather conditions.
The island of Procida, at its closest point, is only 3 nautical miles from the island of Ischia and has a circumference of only 7 nautical miles. So if you want to devote a whole day to Procida, you cannot miss a stroll around the historic centre and a stop for lunch. It is possible to moor your boat in the splendid small port of Corricella, or Chiaiolella, or even Marina di Procida.

Island of Capri
To experience Capri with us, the options are either boating licence (115 hp or 150 hp) or with our 12-metre Gozzo boat accompanied by a professional skipper.
With a self-drive tour (i.e. without a skipper), navigation in the open sea is only permitted to experienced people with a boating licence and only in optimal sea and weather conditions.
We recommend leaving Ischia at 09:00am and returning from Capri no later than 04:00pm to try to avoid the north-westerly winds of the afternoon.
The island of Capri is slightly larger than Procida (8 nautical miles in circumference) but offers natural scenery worthy of a film.

It is approximately 40 nautical miles from Ischia and can be reached by choosing our private Amalfi Coast skippered tour.
