The island in fact has a circumference of about 22 nautical miles, is about three times the size of Capri and its coastline has much to offer its visitors. As regards skippered tours, as they are carried out with a different type of boat, it must be taken into account that about 4 hours of non-stop sailing are required in addition to the stops and swims.

Island of Procida
The island of Procida is much smaller than Ischia and not very far away; it is therefore possible to reach it without difficulty and visit it in a day. For those who hire an inflatable boat or a center console boat, Procida can only be reached in optimal marine weather conditions.
The island of Procida, at its closest point, is only 3 nautical miles from the island of Ischia and has a circumference of only 7 nautical miles. So if you want to devote a whole day to Procida, you cannot miss a stroll around the historic centre and a stop for lunch. It is possible, in fact, to moor your boat in the splendid small port of Corricella, that of Chiaiolella or even Marina di Procida.

Excursions island of Capri recommended by WestCoast:
boating licence (115 hp or 150 hp) or with our 12-metre Gozzo accompanied by a professional skipper.
With these RIBs, however, navigation in the open sea is only permitted to experienced people with a boating licence and only in optimal sea and weather conditions.
We recommend leaving Ischia at 09:00am and returning from Capri no later than 04:00pm to try to avoid the north-westerly winds of the afternoon.
The island of Capri is slightly larger than Procida (8 nautical miles in circumference) but offers natural scenery worthy of a film.
